Business Accelerator: The EforAll Accelerator Program is a free, one-year program offered twice a year in each of our communities. The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network (MSBDC) provides free, confidential, one-to-one business assistance and free or low-cost educational training programs to prospective and existing small businesses throughout the Commonwealth. New England Business Associates (NEBA) assists individuals with disabilities in developing a start-up business through their self-employment programs.  The service is free and includes writing a bankable business plan, which includes three years of financial projections and a marketing plan.  More information can be found on www.nebaworks.com

Valley Venture Mentors's (VVM) programs are geared geared towards aspiring & early-stage entrepreneurs. They run a Mentorship Program, a Startup Accelerator Program and a Collegiate Accelerator.

 

You don’t have to be in a VVM program to enjoy the community of entrepreneurs and their fans. Whether you’re a potential mentor, an entrepreneur, or just “startup curious,” the best way to find out what VVM is all about is go to a Mentorship Meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in Springfield. Free food, booze & childcare.

The Small Business Clinic offers free legal services to small businesses located in the greater Springfield area.  Under close supervision of the Clinic Director, law students work on transactional (i.e. non-litigation) legal matters that are typical in the start-up phase of a business including choice of entity, employment policies, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property issues relating to trademark and copyright.
