The Fund is designed as an alternative for borrowers who may not qualify for more traditional bank financing.  They offer competitive interest rates, flexible terms, and loan amounts ranging from $1,000 to $250,000. For assistance in bidding, managing and performing on government contracts. Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) business advisors are dedicated to providing assistance in bidding, managing and performing on government contracts. Much of the counseling is performed at the client's firm location, making the technical support delivery available in a timely and cost effective manner.

In order to access the services of the Massachusetts PTAC, you must meet the following three criteria:

  1. Your business must be headquartered in Massachusetts

  2. You must be in business for at least two years

  3. Must have a valid e-mail and Internet access

The Small Business Clinic offers free legal services to small businesses located in the greater Springfield area.  Under close supervision of the Clinic Director, law students work on transactional (i.e. non-litigation) legal matters that are typical in the start-up phase of a business including choice of entity, employment policies, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property issues relating to trademark and copyright.
